현재, 우이가르, 알렉스, 기석, 어쉬윈, 탤모 그리고 매트가 EM 이미지에서 신경구조체의 분절화(segmentation)를 개선하기 위한 작업을 진행 중입니다. 이를 위한 한 작업이 신경망(neural networks)의 효율을 좀 더 고전적인 알고리즘과 비교하는 것입니다. 궁극적인 목적은 EM 이미지 분석 자동화의 최적화입니다. 진섭은 아이와이어의 수석 신경과학 연구원(postdoc)입니다.
