I just happened to notice an apparent mistake in the "Location" section:
"In rabbits, the rod to cone bipolar cell ratio is approximately 50 to 1 but within monkeys the ratio is closer to 12.5 to 1.[4]"
But the cited source expresses this ratio as rods to rod bipolars, not rod bipolars to cone bipolars.
"The ratio of rods to rod bipolars in the monkey is approximately 12.5 to 1 (Griinert and Martin, 1991). In the rabbit, it is almost 50 to 1."
