This page holds explanations of the features provided to the community by the currently existing scripts made by players.

Crazyman4865's EWDLC


tabbed chat:


This feature gives players tabs in chat, depending on what rank a player is they will see more/less tabs, like scouts, mentors, mystics and so on, pms go on different tabs as well. This makes chat faster as no longer does one have to type /gm group. and provides relevant settings in the gear cog icon. Additionally tabbed chat has a small # to the right above tabs of how many characters are left in the current msg a player's typing. seen on the picture to the right below. Ctrl + > moves to next tab, ctrl + < moves to prev tab

This tab helps separate info given by commands such as /sc-info, /size, /low-wt and son from rest of chat "clutter", examples below.


commands
EWDLC provides players with 5 more commands. You can find out all the existing commands, from eyewire, as well as all scripts by typing /help in chat.

/size
anyone can type this and it'll show a line of how many cubes a cell is. This # will change as the cell grows and spawns more cubes. Only the user sees the result.

/low-wt
available to scythes, mystics and admins it will show available cubes in a cell that are below weight 3 (less than 3 players have submitted them). It has a default 15 cubes per use limit which can be bypassed by doing /low-wt <cell id> <desired # or 0 will show all cubes). WARNING: if the cell has 1000 low-wt cubes it'll show you 1000 IDs if you have # as 1000 or 0. Only the user sees the results.


/sc-info
available to scythes, mystics and admins it will show available cubes in a cell that a scythe/admin can complete as well as total amount of cubes completed in a cell. It has a default 15 cubes per use limit which can be bypassed by doing /low-wt <cell id> <desired # or 0 will show all cubes). WARNING: if the cell has 1000 cubes that you can complete it'll show you 1000 IDs if you have # as 1000 or 0. Only the user sees the results.


/support
available to everyone, the script is forever free but if you want and it is entirely optional and never obligatory in any way, but if you want you can donate anything/something to crazyman4865 for all his hard work in creating this script.


/clear
available to everyone, this command will clear your chat from everything up to that point without the need to refresh, but it doesn't empty it from RAM so if eyewire's being slow because of too many chat lines, refresh is the way to go.


nested commands
by default if someone writes /command in a group or pm the command won't work, it has to be typed in general (ALL). With nested commands you can type any command anywhere and it'll work.


reverse slash
By default if someone writes \command it won't work and instead you'll have the command posted in chat as an msg. with reverse slash command works.


Editable scythe vision colours
Available for scouts, scythes, mystics and admins. This can be found in the gear cog icon, under EWDLC options (scroll down). Clicking the red highlighted icon on the left side of the image below opens the panel up center screen in the right part of the image. Click each button to set the desired colour. Save will save the colours you chose and you'll see them in all cells after refresh. Discard will discard the chosen colours and allow you to pick new ones. Default will reverse colours to default colours as set by HQ. Exist preview exists the panel, it'll discard colours if you haven't saved them. During preview mode you can see the changes you make in the cell you are in, but it'll take effect to all cells only after refresh. This will also change scouts' log buttons to these colours.


Scouts' Panel, or UIBox'
Available for scouts, scythes, mystics and admins. This is the "box" that contains scouts' tools like inspect, or scythe complete and so on. (ignore the V and the B for now.) EWDLC makes the panel/box sticky, meaning that where you place it there it'll remain after every refresh (except if you press F12 to go to dev tools/console, then you have to re-arrange it.) Also It makes player names under "players" clickable, meaning it'll open player's profile, like clicking it from chat or leaderboard. In "Cube" cube IDs in parents/children are now clickable and will jump you to the cube like from ### in chat. It will also make the names in "players" same colours as the ones you have chosen for scythe vision colours.


Stats in low screen'
In vanilla eyewire reaps and completes don't show. Only cubes, points and trailblazers do. With EWDLC you can see those two as well if you'r ea scythe/mystic/admin.


multiple cells additions in /add-cell'
In Vanilla eyewire, you can only add one cell id with the command per time, with the script you can add many cell ids per time.


In-Cube buttons to the right of 2D'
This script adds 3 new buttons in eyewire, in-cube (normal play or inspect). Increase/decrease brush size (also doable with q/e) and SB= show borders. This shows if a trace/seed is inside the overall area of the cube needed to spawn new cubes. This only works in normal eyewire, it'll not work in zebrafish dataset.
