Internet Explorer does not support WebGL.  Providing you with the interactive 2D and 3D graphics that make Eyewire exciting (and easier to use) is a cutting edge capability for a web browser, and we are only able to deliver it with the help of WebGL Every major web browser, except IE supports itMicrosoft has no plans to support WebGL, so we expect this problem to be permanent. You'll get the best experience with EyeWire by using Chrome and Firefox.

To make EyeWire work (and to make it visually stimulating and fun) requires interactive 2D and 3D graphics, the only way we were able to provide you with the graphics needed was by using WebGL (Web Graphics Library). It is an HTML5 feature for rendering interactive 3D graphics without the use of plug-ins.

Internet Explorer 11 supports WebGL but is not supported officially by the EyeWire development team. Versions of Internet Explorer 10 and under do not support WebGL and cannot play EyeWire at all.

Why not try Chrome or Firefox?
